John,

I too am so sorry for your loss. Ms Vicki is in a much better place than we are right now, I do believe that. May God be with you and your Daughters in this time of need.

We are all here for you and, again, I'm glad to see you among us, your brothers and sisters, that deeply care for you.

Life be lived for love and joy
Left not a day for want of more
But be for the loves we know and need
Lost not a moment for planting the seeds

Be then in joy awaiting your own
Now and forever in your home of homes
Left you your smile on the lives still here
An honor upon memory a song in their ears

Shout high the praise of him on high
For life's truest meaning is forever nigh
Shall be an honor to meet you up there
A day ever long and worries nowhere

Yes I am posting. This place and all you great people help a lot. I have been keeping busy, I have a lot of irons in the fire. Our girls have gone back to their families. Now I have discovered that the house is over 2400 sq feet. It was only 1148 sq feet with Vicki here. Seems a lot bigger now  Vicki told me to get on with life and keep my sense of humor, so I am. She always said that I kept her laughing. I sure do miss her, and have a lot of great memories of our 36 years together.
Thanks to all for the wonderful and caring replies to my posts. They all touched Vicki and my hearts.

John, my apologies for not seeing this thread sooner. May the good Lord bless you and your girls today and always. I too admire the strength you've demonstrated throughout this. I've always believed a good sense of humor is nature's free therapy. FORDification makes a pretty good therapist too

Thanks BiggDog, I'll just keep on truckin down the hwy of life. (Now that was corny, but I like the little cliche.) I now have Vicki back here at home as she wanted to be in my casket with me when the Lord says it is my time. Thank goodness we talked about such matters over the years.
