plans for today

Post by fordman »

i am going to try and build some shelves inthe garage using no matierals. since i dont have any 1 x or plywood. and then once the shelves dont get built and i have made a mess. i am going to get depressed. because i still cant get the engines out of my garage and haul them off. then i will sit down and try to figure out how to make no money today. so i cant buy any plywood. so that the engines will continue to sit in my garage. ship. i might have paid my hpone bill. but no one would call for me to go to work anyway. so why pay it. its been shut off for two months atleast. it hasnt ran for work in over 3 years. then there are the other problems. which i am unsure the correct action to take. a fire is always good to relieve stress. but its too hot to work a bon fire of old limbs. or maybe i should email that guy on craigslist. who wont show up and has my phone number but wont call. and tell him that i dont think he is serious. and should go blank this or that. i dont know what to even say. i guess i could haul off all of my cars and trucks as well as everything i won and see how much money i lost at the end of the day. well. i might go out and do as usual. look at the shelf idea for about 10 seconds. say flip it and try to go back to bed and sleep the whole day.

Hang in there and keep plugging away. That word try isn't in my vocabulary. Please do not let the old evil monster depression run your schedule. Ever time it tries to sneak up on me I knock the crap out of it and carry on. Daytime is not for sleeping unless you work nights, keep busy. Heck build your shelfs out of the wood you where thinking of burning. Just trying to help, your words are worrisome.

Fordman, I've recently started combing over salvage yards looking for parts to sell. The Bump parts I list on here are just my way of saving these old trucks.... not really trying to get rich off them.....all other parts are fair game tho. Just picked up a Navigation CD/6 unit for '07 and up F250's F350 and F450 for $135 it's on Ebay right now. placed my ebay opening bid just to get my money back, however, I know it'll go more... the last one sold 2wks ago for $735! If mine goes half that high it's a tidy sum..I didn't even have to pull it! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... ESELX%3AIT I kind of comb over ebay and CL and see what is going for what and keep a sharp eye out for those things. Also, if I see a car in a yard that looks like it might be something, I start searching Ebay and seeing which parts bring the bucks. Just walked through the salvage yard today and saw a 66 Cuda in pretty good shape being processed..... the back glass is perfect! Keep you're head up and your eye's open! Just judging by the knowledge you have with these old Bumps, you could easily make some quick $'s. Good luck to you, hope thing's turn around.

i went back to bed this morning because it was already hot a 9 this morning. i wasn't about to go out into a metal building and spend any time. i have exhausted all ways of junk yarding. none of them will even let you in. or you have to have an escort. or they want the prices you see on ebay. even thought you tell them you want to resell the items for them. they laugh at you basically. as far as ***** days. i have been living this same ***** day for two weeks for sure. this is week three. as i do still have parts and stuff to sell. no one has wanted some of it yet. what to do? i dont know yet. i have some scrounging i could do . if i could find the right place to scrounge at.

Know what you mean about cabin fever...experienced that before in winter when we were up in Kansas. Now I'm dealing with summer cabin fever...have to get any work done between 6 a.m. and 11:30 or noon, then retreat to the house and wait out the rest of the day inside. Lookin for work, too, so there's only so much I can do inside. Good thing my lab is a good example...he can snooze/rest almost anywhere, any time.
