It hit 102 today around 3:30, then some clouds come up, thunder too, and I got to feel, see and smell some rain for about 12 minutes this afternoon. We're supposed to get a break next three days...only 96.

Temp gauge at 107 right now in the shade. Forecast thru Saturday calls for highs from 103 to 106. Humidity (or lack of) not included.

We made 103 today, with same forecast for rest of week...very little sweatmidity here in W. Tejas. It's a dry heat, so you feel like you are in a frying pan unless there's a little breeze. We need an old fashioned toad-floater rain...for about 3 days.

The weather has sucked here in NC as Clint has already said. There's been barely any rain (not many lawns for me to mow this year :o) and it stays in the upper 90s-100s with high humidity. Really not a fun summer to be working outside but the heat wouldn't bother me as much if it'd rain, most yards are dead, bushes and trees are dying, corn is getting dry that and there's a burn ban that's been in effect for quite a while from the combination of the drought and the huge forest fire we had (Over 20,000 acres and maybe a month or more to get it contained to what it is now, haven't heard if it was out yet or not). Well try and stay cool and hydrated everybody, this summer's gonna be a real scorcher. Hopefully it's not as cold this winter as it is hot this summer .

I for one hope it is as cold this winter as it was hot this summer.

Haven't been mowing much grass my self. What gets me tho is I get up at 5 and leave the house at 7 but the humidity is so high in the morning it takes till the hottest part of the day for most of my lawns to dry out to where I can get a good cut.

For example right now it is 5 am and 78 degrees with a humidity level of 80%.

Supposed to be around 100 today and a heat index of 105. There were a few days over the last two weeks where it was hard for me to breathe when I was outside. Never experienced that before.

That's pretty scorching for Little Rock.. I was watching some of my wx stickers today.. It's seems my
dirt patch up near Eufaula hit 110+ today.. At 7 PM, "right now" I still show 109 in Mc Alester.

It has been 102-111 for the last week here! nothing like putting up guardrail on fresh new refurbished high ways and having tar pull up on your feet all day! :x . People love us as we are one of only a few crews in Texas that all speak English! We love being the minority! :D
