Long shot

Post by slim_chance »

I was wondering if there is anyone on here from the Charllotte N.C. or near by areas that might have seen a sky blue and white with a white top 1972 F-100 LWB with a black driverside door and "spotted cow" grey primer. This was my truck years ago. I know chances are she is sitting in a slavage yard stripped or crushed and now paperclips. But I just thought I would try to see what happend to my old smurf-mobile.

I am in Huntersville but the Charlotte line is only 1/2 mile away. I'll keep my eyes out for it. Do you happen to have any pictures as that would help a lot?

Alas no I do not have any pics with me. They are all at my parents house in S.C. For some reason there are very few surviving pictures of my old truck and none on didgital. The last time I saw my old girl was in 97 when I sold her to a friend of my dad so he would stop borrowing my dad's truck. He later sold it to his brother who had to have the top welded back on it had came apart due to previos repair in the 80's and after that no one knows where she ended up. Soposedly the truck was spotted in charllotte and in Pineville in 02 I think. Oh and if some one gets close enough to look the black door has no holes for molding on the bump and if the truck still has them it has those early mustang like round mirrors the california mirrors(?) are gone.
