I saw someone do this at a 'yard' - and the bolted a chain to the engine (like they were going to lift it - but wrapped it under - around the tires and all - so that it could not roll - just a thought !
thanks

not ab abd idea. but i may take a 2x4 and lay it under the engine wrap a chain around both sides of the 2x4 then bolt the chain to the enigne. that should work. i would just have to put enough 2x4 spacers under the pan to make it solid.

so far i have put the flywheel and engine plate back on the engine. i was trying to put the alternator bracket on it. but they seem incorrect for this engine and water pump. so i am going to remove the bracketry. and sit the alternator off to the side. bolt the bellhousing on. find a start gas and figure out how to wire in the duraspark. i may take a video of how to wire that in. if i can figure it out myself.

Seriously I am glad you have employment.
