PNP score!!!

Post by hotrod ford »

Today I was looking at the local pnp for what ever and came across this 68 Ford van. I noticed that it had low back seats in it. I looked at the tracks and they were what you would need to use bucket mounts in our trucks. They were in bad shape but decide to get them because they are only $16 bucks each. So while doing this I looked across from the van and saw an 80's Astro van and went to look at it. It also had low back seats that were in great shape. Gray leather with the same type of tracks. So I pulled those instead and took the track from the 68's passenger seat to use on the newer seat. So with this, if you are looking for seats that will fit on bucket brackets this is an option. Just my :2cents: .

Let me correct somthing. They are from a Ford mini van not an Astro van.

The beauty of pre '00's ford is they used alot of parts for about 40 years with little to no drastic changes.

Wow! they do lay back just a tad. i wonder if you can shim the seat in the back just a bit? i know the mustang buckets in my 66 f100 lay back but not that much! do the seats fold forward or are they stationary?
