number of users on line

the other day i happen to look. and there were 80 something users on line. most were guests. but still thats alot from what it used to b. today i see there are 50 on line right now. 45 are guests and the rest are signed in. but no one is posting word one. whats wrong with that? sign in an say something. ask a question. how is your grandpas wooden leg? what does he call the other one?

Whenever there are a large number of 'Guests' on the forums, those are guests are Googlebots, crawling and indexing the forum posts.

Well, there are about three online forums I watch while I am at work. They stay open in the background for most of the day.

So I may be working on something, or even at lunch, but I will still show up here as online.

I, too, am bad about having Fordification open and minimized at work. Or at least I was. We've been experiencing a little problem with bandwidth in the network at work and the IT manager, who just happens to be a good friend and old school gearhead, started investigating. Seems several people were listening to streaming radio and such during working hours. We were talking about who and what when he brought up..."Know who #6 was? Fordification.com. 465 hits in 7 hours. You might wanna watch that before the boss catches on." I talk about the forum frequently. I owned up to having it open and minimized but there was no way I had hit that many pages, 40-50 max. Then I pointed out the "Fordification radio" in the upper right corner of the page and he said that was probably what was pulling a high hit count. Surely I didn't hit 465 times during the day. That would mean I wasn't working, I was surfing Fordification! Not me. Not that much anyway.

When I acquired Mr.Majestyk in April I did the usual 'Search' to see what was out there for forums
as I've done with my other vehicles and hobbies

The other Ford forums have kinda gone along the wayside as my interests are more Bump related and
the people here seem more friendly plus I've had several great experiences in buying a few goodies from a couple
of members who treated me excellent

I do find myself scanning the threads to see whats going on here then realizing I forgot to log in

Bill, your Bride is a VERY Pretty Lady! If in your heart, she 'looks' like a movie star, so be it. My personal opinion is she's MORE attractive than any movie star as she's the real deal!

We know she's also very intelligent as she chose you...lucky guy!
