Post by goldies67 »

got up this morning, having coffee on the deck with the wifey, and in my yard flew a red tailed hawk to snatch up a tasty grey squirrel, and proceded to consume the critter 30 yards from me,my lady was a little grossed out but it thought it was amazing!
its nature at its finest and its in my back yard! i get deer, coyotes, fisher cats, hawks, all kinds go thru my yard! natural selection is great! days like today make you feel alive!! well, goin to wrench on my bump now!!

I was watching two buck in my yard last night. A huge 8 pointer and a 6 pointer. I sent my dog to chase them away and she had no idea they were even there. They took off and she never heard them. She's gettin' old I guess. :(
We get a lot of these, too. These are 2 different bear. Both pics taken less than 40 feet from my back door. Absolutely incredible animals to see in the wild!

If your dog's that old I wouldn't leave it out with bears afoot...might make one a meal.
