Shame shame shame....

Post by BRUTUS_T_HOG »

Had to tow the F350 out of the yard today... with a 2005 Chevy Malibu 2.2L.

The starter had gone out and i NEEDED it so i could tow a trailer and meet somebody for a sale. got it pulled to the edge of the hill and rolled down the hill and got it started. now its parked in my parents driveway waiting for my dad to put a starter in it.

 Man, ya gotta do what what you gotta do...but I don't know if I'd be admitting something like that in public. ;) Just act like it never happened.

Of course, I hope you realize you're going to have to treat your truck to something nice...to make up for the public humiliation!

Got my old girl stuck in the front yard on wet grass too. Had to let my stepson pull it out with his GMC K1500. He didn't even have to put it in 4wd! I've taken crap for that for about 2 years. :pout:

well luckily it was my own wife and my own car that pulled it out. that little 2.2l is one of the best engines GM has put out in my opinion. gets about 35mpg, tons of power and the biggest thing for me...RELIABLE. now if only they could have gotten the rest of the car right! tons of electrical problems but in 140k miles all i've had to do to the engine is oil changes and coolant changes
