I apologized to Bill W because my anger was not directed at him, but at the way the PD handled the communication to him, and telling him something OTHER than what I discussed with them. I thought that was evident in what I posted, but with what followed I could see how he might think I was pissed at him, which I wasn’t. I also apologize to anyone else that feels my anger was directed at them, when it wasn’t. that means 99% of you.

Now, onto the boy with the still-evident anger issues…

One part backordered. Ever deal wth a distributor that doesn’t have what you need, even though your customers need/want/already paid for it? When you have, then you can come in here and tell me whats what.

Guess what, Andy Man. You are the first and only person out of those 1000+ customers that EVER had a problem with that happening, and yes, whether you want to believe it or not you did take Jaime’s comment way out of context and make it out what you wanted it to be fuel your own indignation and anger.

However, in this case, since you don't have any beans in this pot, it's time for you to leave it alone and let the beans that ARE in the pot quit boiling and simmer. OK. Its probably astatine for me to even comment on this. But I have never been accused of being the smartest guy in the class. So on I will go.
I personally think that someone that has nothing to do with the matter in the first place and was in no way harmed should not speak out in such a heated undignified manner. I will not stoop to sling names.

I saw the original thread and read through some of it and found it disturbing that people have decided to draw and quarter an individual so fast. I personally think the cops might not have remembered every thing or it got passed along the chain back and we know how the whole chain rumor thing evolves.

I also find it possible for 390Nut to have returned to the site after such an absence that things could be on the level of what he is saying. I know I have been down the wrong side of the ditch myself so to speak. I owed things to people after things went horribly wrong. I made good when I could.

Now on the other hand if given the opportunity to make good on debts yet paid and the one in debt does not make a reasonable attempt to compensate the owed party then should the owed party turn on the one in debt to them. Not someone who has no "skin" in it as it were.

Now the ones that are owed (in which I am sorry but didn't bother to try to remember who) It is in your hands to either give a person who could really be down on his luck a chance or go a head and pursue it in a legal matter. But this choice should be made with a level head by you and only you. Not in a heated manner and quick to jump to conclusions and not by someone who was not a party in any of this.

I would say that since 390Nut has been around on this board since 2004 and there does not seem to be any marks against him previous to this whole situation (that I have seen proof of) then I say people should give him a chance.

Now this part is my personal feelings on this. I have not read everyone's responses on here but one name does stick the (funny kittens) out. 71highboy. Dude what the (fuzzy dice) is wrong with you!! You don't even really have a (lost gerbils) stake in this and out go and (burned giblets) risk getting tossed off this board. That is about (flipping flapjacks) dumb.

I normally would not discuss something like this publicly, but since it was asked for in such a public way.

No one should take any joy in a person getting banned, I take no joy in doing it. It would likely have been only a week in absence of the direct request to be "terminated". I'm willing to commute it to a week with a request to do so and some demonstration that the behavior will change.

Now back to the subject.

Not to interject religion but I'm a Southern Baptist and I'm reminded of the way in which disputes are handled between members within the church. We have a monthly conference to discuss the business of the church and this "town hall style" meeting is held to strict "Roberts Rules or Order" guidelines. Only members of the church are entitled to a vote although visitors MAY be asked to assist. These are referred to as "Gospel Steps".

Step 1: If a member has "aught" (i.e. a dispute) against another member they approach that member privately and ask for satisfaction/apology.
Step 2: If satisfaction is not met, they should round up a couple of "deacons" as witnesses and repeat the request with the other party.

The Bible says that if your "brother" has "aught" against you, YOU should go to them and apologize and ask for THEIR forgiveness, not the other way around. Therefore, in the above gospel steps, the scenario goes both ways. If the other person refuses to accept your apology, then you can bring it before the church. A sincere apology offered is expected to be received gracefully by the other party and move on.

During conference there a specific agenda where the conference Moderator "calls for peace and fellowship". In that he announces...
"If you have a dispute with another member, gospel steps having been taken and satisfaction not met, you may now rise and state your case."

It is this opportunity where any dispute is then made public, testimonies by both parties are given, and the church is allowed to vote on who, if anyone, is entitled to an apology. If said person, who is found offensive, refuses to apologize to the wounded party, or except the offered apology, the church can vote on whether to dismiss that member to "keep the peace" in the church. Needless to say, no one, in my lifetime, has ever stood up and aired their dirty laundry and been asked to leave the church. If no dispute is brought forward then all is assumed "to be at peace" and nothing more should be said about it between the two parties.

There is one common, agreed upon, concept by all parties within the church. When you set foot inside that sanctuary, you leave all personal grudges, selfish opinions, backstabbing, badmouthing, hurt feelings and feelings of revenge OUTSIDE the church. You commune together in "peace and fellowship" for the common good of the church. There's children in the building, do we really want our children to see us behaving this way and want them to grow to behave the same way?

As I said, I'm not interjecting religion into this discussion, just pointing out that our forefathers had much more decorum in handling disputes that we do now. In the close knit communities, and churches, of the frontier, disputes were handled diplomatically with arbitrators, moderators, witnesses and diplomacy. At least till somebody pulled a gun.....
