Photo's of my original 29,000 69-F250

Post by Mach428 »

For some reason, I cannot ever seem to post pictures so I have a link below to photobucket.
This may be of interest to some of you since there has been lots of discussion on PS belt/pulley routing, AM-FM radio, etc.

http://s1122.photobucket.com/albums/l521/mr_mach428/

Story of my truck is it was ordered from Ford in April of 1969 by my Father, so I've had the truck since his death in 1976. Here's some notes on the truck
Mileage is almost 30,000
Originally bought without AC,PS, PB, AM-FM. I sourced all of these components, rebuilt them and added over the years
Dual tanks

This truck appeared in the Legiondary Ford Magazine, which I can also post....if I ever figure out how to do that!

That's a beautiful time capsule. Nice touch with the Rally Pack
That 70-72 hood chrome looks pretty good on that combination.

Good eyes Mike! I kept as original as possible but I had to install the 70 hood chrome. Funny thing is that since this truck was built so late in the model year, many of the cab features are 1970. For instance, the cowl lacing (rubber strip between the hood and cowl) is 1970 - 69 will not fit!

You place the cursor over the 'direct copy' box under each pic and right click. It should show 'copied'. Then you go to your post and right click again under the text and click again on 'paste'. Bracket the link with and you're done. Repeat as necessary...
