A running unibody for $50 ? thats sweet! what engine? a 6?
50 dollar trucks are always great,i picked up a pretty crusty (the cab mounts were completely missing - the cab was bolted thru a 2x4 to the frame with a piece of chain punched thru the floor as an added safety measure!) but good running 71 f100 (300/t-18 )for $50 - got some duct tape and covered the rust holes in the fenders, threw some used low-pro BFG's on some wagon wheels i got for free ,broke out the black paint and a roller and then gave it a flame job - then had way too much fun with it and had to make it go away....
!

The $50 Unibody had a crinkled right fender and grille. But was driveable. I bought a fender and grille from the local P'n'P for less than $100 and drove it for about 5 years before rebuilding the motor.
This truck was built in late '62 and spent it's whole life in Palmdale, CA so there wasn't any rust.
Here it is in the 80's (with a baby pitbull in the bed, waiting to go for a ride). Fender and grille replaced and painted with rattle-can BBQ paint
