My favorite was and still is my 67 SS Chevelle. Had it for 23 years and all my others was chevys also. 69 ss nova. 70 nova 72 nova and next fav was a 1979 z28 t-top factory 4 speed w/373 posi rear. Lots of others that were everyday drivers. I have only owned 2 fords a 1978 f100 swb with transplanted 460 that got away from me on a you know wild cross eyed Friday night and rolled it 3 times. I also have a 1985 cj 7 jeep with hard top and doors with 44,000 original miles that I bought from original owner that was a older lady and it had always been in garage and only driven in summer.Hard to believe but I know for sure because it was my aunt. Yes I know you think I'm forgetting something.Its the 2nd ford its the 69 bump I have now. I Love the truck,but if I got down on my luck it would probably be first to go just because it would be easiest to replace. SORRY

My favorite car has to be my frist:(at 19yrs.) A 74 charger I learned so much more (than what I learned in just reading) about motors ( and I built a mean motor in it)on that car, and just had so much fun driving it! I wanted my dads 69 mach one mustang for my frist car but "Nana talked" him in not doing it (but when I took my dad for a ride in the charger I put him back in the seat and he looked over with a smile and said I should of gave you the mustang as I would of liked to feel that car move like this cat does again)Well as a car I hate well I have yet to own a car I hated!!!! I never ever buy crapy cars or trucks,I buy all classics, muscle cars, hot rods.Real American Iron (well some now is made of other material but you get the point) is what I own or ever will buy! never ever will I buy a rice car as I hate them and low them in ever way! My dad always talked about his cars and what he did to them so as such I like cars but I only liked the old ones and the muscle stuff!

my favorite car was my 80 chev malibu, and because it was in fact a "good chevy" i feel obligated to stand up for it - even though i've had to take alot of ribbing over my love of old fords over the years

I was saying I was sorry for the bump not being on top of list. Just always know I can very easily replace it.
The chevelle I would never be able to afford to replace it and the jeep I would never find another original 44,000 mile one that has no rust and that had never been in 4 wheel drive untill I got it. Ask my aunt when I bought it if 4 wheel drive worked good. Her reply I don't even know how it is suppose to work. I never used it. I only drove it on dry pavement for a fun car. She almost died when I put a lift on it and 35in tires.,but she was alright when I told her I keep everything and would put it back stock when I was not able to get in and out of it. its almost that time

my buddy recently built up a 67 Acadian Beaumont (kind of a canadian version of a chevelle) that looks like your cars twin half-sister for his wife (she's owned the car for at least 20yrs)

Yes it is. I drove the car everday for about 8 years. Then done a medoker restore and paint. then about 3 years ago I got my shop done and did a full frame off. It took me about 2 years to get the way it is now.

michael69 : because this is all about fav and hated non-bump rides you don't have to feel bad cuz you didn't put your bump on the list (although i'm shocked you would even consider getting rid of it )..

i'm probably just full of it and trying to justify never paying over $1000 for any vehicle ever again,but i think you've really missed out by only buying cool vehicles
- jap mobiles are actually pretty fun to bomb around in, and some of em are faster than you'd think (and others just blow goats,but that goes the same for american cars as well )
i learned to drive in a 78 datsun 510, i also learned that it could take on just about any stock late 80's mustang or camaro in the stoplight gran-prix and come out the winner
i've also owned a 280zx which was pretty fun & a couple of hondas including a slightly warmed up (and a little bit rusty)CRX si that had larger injectors , an aftermarket intake & exhaust & the computer was tweaked - that little "chick car" was a total hoot to tear around in - 5th gear front wheel rubber anyone? felt like a go-cart but handled like a slot car !!!

63 Fairlane 500 with a 200 and a 2 speed was my favorite. My wifes 97 Maxima is my most hated.

For me its a staius symbol on what I drive and own saidsabout me! cool,bad a-"bad word",bi-"female dog"- en.,wicked,evil.and mean cars he has !!!! 90% of the cars today have no style at all unlike cars of old! you can do more on a older car for looks than most of the new ones to day and have people jaws hit the floor with awwwwwwwwwwww !
I own a little 63 dart with a 225 stant 6 I had built in to a little screamer, it was good on gas but it still pooped get and the little ricer boys in my valley hated it as I gave them a run for the money!

I never ever said the ricers where slow as they have some real fast mother hubers!!! its just not my style!!!
and yes there is a lot of crapy American cars as well starting in the '70s epa cars (most with a ricer motor as well)

I just got my '74 Nova out of the shop. I had them do the brakes including wheel cylinders and a new master cylinder. They also rebuilt the carburetor. It runs very good now and stops good. I wanted to drive it right away but drove it to work and found out the tires are too old. The car started shaking pretty good over 40 mph. I got two new rear tires today though. The wife and I went for a cruise tonight about 11 p.m. It was a nice ride. I didn't go over 50 mph on the freeway cruising with all the windows down.

I have never driven or ridden in one but I like the '71 Mustang!

I never hated any of my vehicles. My parents had a '69 chevelle 4 door and a '71 F100 lwb (both dark blue). I loved both of those vehicles. I even liked my mom's 1978 Pontiac Phoenix. It was maroon. I failed parallel parking in it when I was 16 because the engine died after I hit the curb. Then I got my '84 Bronco II 4x4 and loved that(it was also maroon). It started smoking and I guess i was tired of it so I traded it for a 1993 GMC extended cab(one of my best vehicles, it had a 350 v8, 5 speed transmission, was an extended cab and light blue). I sold the GMC however after I bought my white '71 f100 custom. It wasn't in particular nice condition but very reliable as long as I didn't push it too hard. It started using or blowing out oil if I got on the highway. Then one day I needed to drive to Houston for a trucking job and it threw a rod. So then I got a good deal on a 2005 crown victoria pi. This was the BEST/Newest vehicle I have ever owned perhaps and must have been crazy to have sold it. '87 cutlass supreme, 1996 crown victoria, 1982 chevette, 1992 chevy 1500.

h2 bites but the pt cruiser is only cool with the 5.7 or 6.1 hemi in it ( and yes its been done and it looks stock)
