I guess if I had to hate a vehicle it would be an H2 and an pt cruiser.
so u saying you have 4-50 a/c :hd:

oh, yeah it felt nice cruising tonight. It's been 110 degrees the past couple of days here.

h2 bites but the pt cruiser is only cool with the 5.7 or 6.1 hemi in it lol( and yes its been done and it looks stock)
I misunderstood. I thought it was what vehicles you hate instead of vehicles you have owned you hate.

I think i mess it up by say I hate ricer and never owned one (and still never will)..it is the cars you have owned u liked or hated
but the pt with that little 4 banner it and front wheel drive would frost my butt

the idea here is to share the vehicles that you've owned that you either loved or hated the most (other than your bump)...
but its all just for fun anyways ,so whatever ...its all good

FAVORITE: 1949 F-5, 337 flat V-8, 4 spd, Timken rear with 5.88's. Rolled on 7.50 x 18 bias mud treads. 16 foot flatbed.
Bought it when i was 15 at a county auction. It was a water truck. They took the tank, i installed the flatbed. The 337 came from an F-8 firetruck, so did the four speed. I built custom headers for it, ran it out 4 inch stacks. Still kept the stock rear lighting, one tail/brake lamp.
I really liked that truck, problem was i wanted to go faster. So stupid me sold it

MOST HATED: 1982 Chevy Citation, 2.5L, 4 spd, 2 dr, slant back. It was the first generation of TBI for GM and that P.O.S. had more ground issues with sensors, and modules than i could shake a stick at.
Living life full throttle on the North Coast of America!!!

72' F-350, DRW, 360, NP435, Dana 70, 159" WB, P.S., P.B., 12' flatbed, 10,000 GVW.

Ok I would have to say there is a tie for both favorite and hated non bumps I have owned.

Favorites would have to be my 68 Mustang coupe and my current car 76 Cougar

The mustang I had for 3 years it had a 302 and a c4 out of a 72 bronco (or at least that is what the guy that bought the car from said) that I "warmed up" quite a bit. That thing was a beast. It was my first and only V8 mustang the other 3 where 6 or 4 bangers. It had a unique red and black paint job and man that car was fun. Wish I hadn't sold it. I only paid $500.00 for the car and drove it home.

And my 76 Cougar. What can I say it has survive past 3 other family cars has served as my toy and a family car when the others failed us. It has a 400 with a C6 it rides nice and has enough power to be fun when I want. I payed $600.00 for it back in January of 05 drove it home and my wife's 87 caprice couldn't keep up and she is still a good car. Not bad for a car that I didn't really want at the time. That is till I got it home

Most hated cars would have to be my 82 Oldsmobile Delta 88 diesel and my wife's former 02 Sebring.

The 82 Delta what can I say Horrible waste of a car. That thing was a rolling junk pile that looked like a nice car. Body and interior where in amazingly good shape. But that dang converted 350 under the hood. What a money pit and a mechanics nightmare. I would get maybe a week of good driving then boom something new quit. Starter did not last very long thankfully they where lifetime units so never payed any but the first one. But dang that thing was bigger and heavier than a standard GM starter and that's when I found the horrid shims. I think GM made starters like that as a joke. Stupid car got towed 18 time in 6 months. (thank god AAA platinum had unlimited tows back then) Sold the trans and used the money to buy My 68 Mustang  The rest of the car got cubed and I got to watch

The 02 Sebring Yeah after this I am done with Chrysler. Bought the car with under 50k miles on it had to put CV's in it the second year I owned it. Then the thing developed a tick. And down hill it went from there. Next the dang water outlet blew in half because its pressed together plastic (WTF?) fixed that with some sensor safe RTV and self tapping screws (what can I say I am a country boy and it worked) then Cradle bushings went bad so the engine would jump around now and then when you first come to a stop and it waited like 3 seconds to down shift. Then the thing had a catastrophic engine fail at a little over 80k miles. :x On top of all that the body looked like it was coming apart at the seams. I hope that thing got crushed. The only thing that worked right in it was the transmission. Oh also did you know Mopar built these knowing there was an electrical problem that caused the gauge cluster cpu to shut down sometimes leaving you with no working gauges? If you ever get a chance look at the inside fuse box of that era sebring/stratus you will see a fuse that is in side of something that looks like a fuse puller but it only comes part way out that is to reset the dang car  .

Ok that's what I got.

My favorite was probably my 84 Cutlass. It had a pretty built 307, 350 trans, and it was fast and loud as all get out. It would set off car alarms when I drove by, and it could beat any rice burner away from a stop light. It was white with black racing stripes, lowered in the front, and all the trim was shaved. I got it from a buddy when I was 20, it was my first "real" car. I drove it for about 4 years until gas went up to $2.40 a gallon  and I couldn't afford to keep it on the road anymore. It's still sitting behind my parents' house in NY, quietly rotting into the ground...

My least favorite was my 90 GMC Sierra K1500, with a 3" lift and 33" tires. I was living in the middle of the woods, miles away from the nearest paved road, and needed to have a 4 wheel drive truck to get to work in the winter. I sold my 87 Dodge, which I paid $200 for and drove for a year and a half when I broke a front leaf spring, and it would have cost way more to fix than I wanted to put into it. So I started looking around, and found this Sierra. I paid way more for that truck than I've ever paid for another vehicle, about $5000. It looked kind of cool and was super clean for a NY truck, but it was nothing but problems from day 1. After less than a month, I was noticing a ton of issues, so I replaced pretty much everything that was bolted to the engine, the entire front end, etc. I finally had it to where it was riding well, had good power, and started every time. Then, the 700r4 transmission blew up. And I mean blew up. Like a u joint seized up without warning, and the trans housing split open and puked its guts up all over the thruway. Got a new one, and immediately it felt like all the stuff I'd done to it was going to have to be done again pretty soon. I was just super paranoid about driving it anywhere. Sold the truck for $1500. Took a huge bath on it, but was stoked to never have to look at it again.

My favorite was my 67 Chevelle SS with the 396. Crager mags and a maroon with metal flake paint job. Had a 66 Chevelle at the same time and got a better offer on the 67. :x Youth equaled ignorance in my case.
Also had a 72 Vega. That was a tough little car to only have a 4 banger in it. Kind of like the Gremlin I drove until the police told me to keep it off the streets.
Been a lot of others. Like the 66 Chevy pickup, the Pinto, the 60s and 70s model vans my buddy and I have customized. Ford and Chevy. I would take any of them over the newer stuff out there today.

What I would call an intense dislike, is for my wifes current car. A 2001 Pontiac Sunfire. What doesn't leak, just plain doesn't work. A MAJOR P.O.S.

lol! Gremlin!
i think that cragars can make any vehicle look good (or at least better than they did...),the set of cragars i had (from a 67 cougar parts car my bro had) worked their magic on everything from my malibu to a 79 granada (near dead 302 and 2.40 -ish gears!) , a 67 pontiac tempest lemans,70 nova 4door (snot green inside and out) ,a buddy's dodge van & ex-taxi cab dodge diplomat

what kinda mileage does the sunfire have on it ? - other than the charging system ,my bro's 2000 sunfire ...which he absolutely hates driving (..when he parks it ANYWHERE he leaves it unlocked and the ignition key sitting on the drivers seat and in the 3 years he's had it, he's only had a pack of smokes stolen out of it..))... but still says its probably the most dependable car he's ever had....and which i always tell him is the absolute lamest car he's ever had ....was trouble free until recently when it hit around 300 000 km (180 000 mi) ,now its starting its self-destruct sequence ..

:hmm: ...i wonder how many olds diesels still exist? the only one i've ever seen running was in a 80's gmc p/u (probably 18 yrs ago at least) ...i know a few dodge mechanics...i wouldn't buy a chizzler if my life depended on it...

 76 cougar! thats awesome! for $600 its gotta be good man!

I hear ya  I still have the orignal #s matching 396 for mine tucked away resting nicely in the corner of the shop. Waiting to find its home back in my chevelle. I will put it back together and put it back in when the 502 starts laying down on me.

.....4 door/4cyl auto : usually a combo for lameness
...got me thinking about the car i should have hated ,but ended up just thinking was funny :
- 8) 83 plymouth reliant K - 4 door "lean burn' 2.2l auto ,..pretty low miles ...bought it for $400 off my buddy
-the car just could not get out of its own way..didn't matter what you did..stiffest gas pedal ever...want to try a burnout? forget about it,couldn't even get wheelspin in loose gravel with the pedal flatpanned and doimg a neutral drop!
anyway...
this sucker would diesel when you shut it off (pretty badly)..the car actually came with the owner's manual and this was "normal" :? due to the lean burn crap this car had ...
well i decided to see how long it would diesel on for so i warmed it up,shut it down and pumped the gas a little...for about 15 minutes ...then got bored of that game and wanted to see if it was drivable that way
...so i put the key to "ACC" to unlock the steering wheel and proceeded to drive it 5 miles across town to my buddies place ,then took it thru the drive thru at mickey d's (won a bet for a free lunch  )
:( ...unfortunately the top speed driving this way was only about 40 mph so i couldn't get er out in the freeway   ,but i did clock over 70 miles cruising around in that stupid P.O.S that day - all with the ignition switched "OFF" :woohoo:
- still got my first first car 20+yrs later : 69 f100 sorta kinda pretending its a Mercury M100 w/a 70 f350 sport custom cab (factory buckets) 67 grille with 69 ranger cooneyes 68 merc box and hood, some supercool fiberglass fenders i scored way back when, 76 f150 disc brake frontend..currently running a 90 5.0HO 4bbl/c4 auto & 3.50 posi...originally a 360/c6 f100 Ranger with dealer added towpack (incl. kelsey hays trailer brake),boxside toolbox, behind the seat stowage & belly tank...only original parts left on 'er are the frame, rear end, rear springs, and rear bumper...
