Re: 1969 F100 4 Wheeler
I think i might have messed up my new brake booster I pick up a 67 master cylinder, brake booster, and brake pedal assembly, when i separated the the master cylinder and the brake booster, one of the plungers out of the brake booster came out when i removed the master cylinder. I was wondering if it will be ok if i just push it back in or if the booster is done for?

just finished the wiring it starts and most of the lights work so that good, I have a problem with the batter im only getting 11.75 V while its running and i know i should get like 13 or 14 out of it but with a external voltage regulator should I check it somewhere else.

Re: 1969 F100 4 Wheeler
i've had low voltage due to a bad regulator. try a new regulator and if that's not working i'd look at the alternator.

Re: 1969 F100 4 Wheeler
You can just put it back in. Nothing holds it in. I assume you are talking about the pushrod that comes out of the power booster that actuates the master cyl.

it is a brand new regulator and alt so i think it was just the wiring so im going to try and rewire it a new why and hope it works. I did and it works so now i have a spare 67 brake booster

i've had a regulator go bad in a week. Not saying you're wrong but try another one.
