I bet the owner of that bump got paid a total of $850 for it. Too bad when a star can ruin a mans perfect means of transportation and means of work and only have to pay the man a measly sum of money. The owner is probably still looking for a replacement truck and a truck to work out of he can afford. The pill popper movie star that wrecked it paid probably paid his lawyer several thousand dollars that didn't mean anything to him and probably didn't even have to show up in court.

Well, just to put a "happy ending" twist on this thread (if there is anything to be happy about with a dead bump)... CNM67 and I went back down to the junkyard today and visited this truck (which is ready for the crusher just about any day now.... Its pretty much picked clean). I brought along my buddy's generator and my sawzall... Unfortunately the passenger side roof corner was rusted through, which is the corner I need to repair my crewcab.
But the driver's corner was solid and after a little cutting, I now have the donor piece to repair the rusted out roof on my crew cab!! So the death of this truck at least benefited the repair of another with a healthy piece of roof!

"Bump that was killed by drug abusing Evil Hollywood Type resurrected by FORDification Member"
Now THAT'S a story with a Happy Ending. I just hope the poor regular guy that owned the Bump at the time of it's murder is OK and has gotten an afFORDable replacement for it.

Well at least some stuff got salvaged but yeah it sucks to see the demise of an old truck. Ive scrapped a 70 and 77 in my career and I hated to do it. Bothe were eat up in rust but just seemed to suck to take anther one outta circulation. This guy oughta feel horrible taking that nice a truck out being stupid. All I can say is R.I.P. ol bump.
