Did get to chat with him. Seems he found the truck under a tree in a mechanics yard who was downhearted that he couldn't put the lift gate on his own truck.
A very nice save. It's solid sounds like new and even has a great windshield :-)
Did pass site on to him. Hoping he shows. Would like to donate some decent headlamp doors.

That is a Bad A$$ bump. I wouldn't change a thing on it if it were mine. I like it without the headlight doors too lol. I like a nice restored bump but some of them look just right as a well taken care of Work Truck.

I'd add the lamp doors, replace the missing winch and switch to one piece rims, but those military tires would stay! Other than that, the only other thing I'd change is the owner hehe

Here are a couple I spotted at the local market. The Lady driving the Explorer told me she has owned the truck for years and would not consider selling it. I didn't even ask. I just asked her if she would mind me taking the photos. Musta been used to people trying to buy it.

Ok I know I am commenting on an old post here but I know that truck it came from S.C. (or atleast it looks exactly like the one a friend's dad had.) Use to try to buy it a while after I sold my 72 with the same color set up. He sold it to a guy in georgia with out telling me it was up for sale.

Tilt nose crew I saw at the Port Orchard car show last week. Pretty cool, sorry the pic of the mill did not come out on the cell phone. I think it was the 4btc or whatever that is...

The truck has "Sandy Cane" on the front and rear. Maybe a chick named Sandy? Anyway that's a beautiful truck, especially in Pennsylvania!
Tony that one looks familiar. I think someone else posted pics of it awhile back. Nice truck
My truck was that color from the factory, however when i got it was primer grey with a lot of holidays in the paint job.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

Well guys I found a "bump interstate" today close to home here. Really just a two lane road but saw four different bumps, (including an old DRW with 8 foot tall side boards hauling trash) and a real nice maroon colored step side.
Amongst all the commotion with the Ford ranger burning down to the ground, (I mean it literally melted the front end of this truck) I couldn't get any pictures. :( Felt real sorry for the guy who owned the ranger as he used the Ranger to deliver pizza's. I dumped my 5 pound dry extinguisher under the fender-well toward the engine when it first started-that didn't phase it! There were 20 foot flames at one point. :help:

:hj: :off: :oops!: :nopix:
