Really big Truck Meet & Greet

Post by Tim P. »

Well haven't been on much lately. did meet with Keith last Wednesday in Nebraska near his home I wasn't able to drive to his house as this visit was with a really big truck A KW ! We had a nice time weather was excellent . His children got to take a tour of a big truck play with the horn and see the interior, engine etc of a 2006 Ken-worth T2000. Wasn't a Ford but worthy as far as Semi trucks are concerned. Got a nickle tour of the town and went to a small little place for dinner, Thank You Keith ! Sure beats the truck stop food offered there. Got some pics of kids with the truck, they enjoyed that. Keith was driving his SuperCab Camper Special which is a nice truck, very solid,, however the 460cid motor is pretty scary theses days with fuel mileage it did run well and ride was as expected for the model year and would be comfortable on longer trips. Its worthy of some TLC and should provide many years to come of good service. Thanks again Keith and family. Hope we can do that again sometime in the future. Maybe with my old ford.

Blessings Tim P.

Yes, it was a lot of fun to do some catching up with you, Tim! (I got to meet Tim and his wife six years ago when I drove up to Michigan to get my choptop project truck.) Too bad we didn't have a little more time to kick back and relax, but that's how it goes sometimes. The kids definitely got a kick out of the Kenworth tour, thanks for that! Here's a couple shots taken that afternoon:

Looking forward to doing it again!
