Potential projects...

Post by mk »

After a cool fairly damp summer, we're finally having a few weeks of 70-80 degree weather here. Endless blue skies, light breezes and yesterday, a wide open saturday
So I took a long drive south into ranch country. Combines and swathers on the move, the breeze teasing silvery trails through the tassels of wheat and barley, hawks soaring and swooping down on unsuspecting prey- and old cars and trucks on farms and in the fields :D
Small towns are good too; alleys are great for cruising, wondering just what's parked in that 'rickety old garage'...

Here's a couple of potentials I was salivating over...

48 Merc

62 Pontiac (really want a '61 bubbletop Catalina but they're kinda scarce)

How about you guys, any good finds lately?

Hey, MK! Good to hear you are still truckin around!

Does Alberta's new Distracted Driver Law apply to rubber-necking old farmyards as you drive by...looking for those tell-tale signs of old iron? If so, then I am guilty as charged, too! I drive my wife crazy with exclamations of joy whenever I see something interesting. I think she is starting to get used to it....and even points out stuff I have missed! She's a great girl! Actually stopping and taking a closer look is still another question......so far! Something about having having to make room before adding to the collection...!

Cheers!

Gee, I hope not :shh: The truck does tend to use more of the lane when I'm digging out the binocs at times though...
