Bump therapy
There's something therapeutic about working on your bump. After a long, stressful day of dealing with production conflicts, underperforming vendors, inventory discrepancies, receiving errors, customer expedites, production meetings, customer service meetings, inadequate forecasts and inept personnel, it feels good to come home, put on coveralls, grab the faceshield, fire up the sandblaster and take ugly, greasy, rusty pieces and parts and blast them to clean, bare metal ready for coating or painting. After 1-1/2 hours of being pelted by coal slag grit and getting covered from head to toe in it, I have no idea how it gets through the coveralls but it does, I finally feel relaxed. And my engine perches and tranny crossmember are ready for POR-15. It's been a good day.

Good for you. Hard work, (or should I say fun), pays off. I have been working on mine today also.

Sounding good!! Mine usualy turns out in need of therapy!! Man sometimes I wonder if its worth it! But, I like my ol truck so yeah, it is. Just kinda gettin to a slow spell myself. Hate when I got stuff to do but never get it done. Got sheetmetal out my behind to go on and it just sits!! Motivation is at a minumum!

its a great thing how the world and its problems go away for awhile when you get out the tools and start goin to town on the old truck....(or when you just stand there looking at it with a beer in hand "planning"the next great improvement )
- still got my first first car 20+yrs later : 69 f100 sorta kinda pretending its a Mercury M100 w/a 70 f350 sport custom cab (factory buckets) 67 grille with 69 ranger cooneyes 68 merc box and hood,some supercool fiberglass fenders i scored way back when, 76 f150 disc brake frontend..currently running a 90 5.0HO 4bbl/c4 auto & 3.50 posi...originally a 360/c6 f100 Ranger with dealer added towpack (incl. kelsey hays trailer brake),boxside toolbox,behind the seat stowage & belly tank...only original parts left on 'er are the frame,rear end,rear springs,and rear bumper...
