sublimer wrote:Too funny! I heard a story on the radio the other day about these strangers who got into a fender bender and while waiting for the police, the guy who got hit offered the other guy some pie he had and they chit-chatted and they started playing in a rec basketball league together and became great friends out of that weird circumstance.

I think you did the right thing, I've been in many situations where I've been close to interfering with others, but never have. I wondered what was going through his head while you had him pinned against his own car. I think I would have fought back thinking I was getting mugged or something.
I should have probably mentioned that he did fight back. I didn't want to make him out to be a total wimp or anything. But...Tedd isn't a fighter (he will be the first to admit that) I did catch him a bit off gaurd and I have about a 100 pounds on him. So with those three things combined, the fight back he gave was not a huge part of the story

I think I would probably do it again, but just calm down and give it some more thought. It's really spooky just how easy someone could take a kid in a crowded area. No one was paying attention to the screaming. I suppose that whole "this is not my Daddy"! thing that they teach kids to yell really has some merrit. I figure if she was screaming that, no one would have ignored it (at least I hope not).
