A gentleman came by the house while I was at work today and left his phone number. My wife told me he said he's been looking for a truck like this for a long time. Maybe I will call him tomorrow.
I've been thinking about selling her. I need extra money to catch up on bills as well as pay for my '70 F250 Crew cab.
The other issue is my '67 Ranger is the most reliable transportation we currently have. Except for my wife's suburban which has some issues.
I could drive my nova to work if the radiator holds up or I replace/repair it and get a couple of more tires for it.
I'm not sure if the Mercedes would drive since the accident. At least the passenger side doors are still smashed in and I've seen some oil leaking pretty bad since the accident. We have just had it parked for now.
Since I paid $1500 for my Ranger and had the brakes done an bought 4 new tires I am hoping to get maybe $2000 for the truck.

I really DO understand about the need for money, but, you said it yourself
Now you've also done some work on your '67 as well
And finally
so from that point only, you should keep it!!!!dolinick wrote:my '67 Ranger is the most reliable transportation we currently have.

again, another reason to keep it.dolinick wrote: the brakes done an bought 4 new tires

you will NOT be able to replace it, especially one as nice as yours, for that kind of money.dolinick wrote:I am hoping to get maybe $2000 for the truck.

I have a few days off this week. I could get the rent house ready and lease it. That should be number one moneywise. My wife is getting some student loan or gi bill money in a few weeks.
I still have a place I could store the excess vehicles. I have an old two car garage at the rent house. The roof is leaky but it would be a better place for the nova and mercedes or even the crew. Heck I could work on the crew in their.

Re: Sell my Bump?
I was being careless. Or tired or both. A F250 extended cab (a mid eighties model) pulled out of a parking lot and I was driving about 30 miles an hour. I didn't see them until it was too late. No one was hurt except the mercedes. The ford got a small dent in the bumper. I am glad I was driving alone. Passenger side was smashed in pretty good. We'll try to replace the doors and get the dents pulled out. My wife is attached to that car. It was my anniversary present for her.forrestbump wrote:Now you're thinking!!!
