stopped by a state trooper....

was driving bye a local county fair the other day...wasnt going to the fair but got stuck in a long line of traffic,moving slower than snails....every couple hundred feet was a crosswalk with a state trooper directing traffic in the middle of the street,in full rain gear,oh yeah it was pouring all morning,and here i come in the 67...got to the crosswalk and was held at a stop to let about 50 people cross the street into the fair,in the rain, then he waves me on,for about twenty feet then stops me in the middle of the cross walk,comes over and says nice truck,what year is it? now i have about 15-20 cars stopped behind me and he wants to chat,in the rain about bumps...turns out he has a 69 factory flatbed at home that he got from his grandfather ...told me not to worry bout the cars behind me,i was on his dime,sat there for a good five minutes in the rain chattin up about bumps with a trooper....go figure,small world sometimes told him about the site too

One of the biggest gearheads I know is a motor vehicle specialist for the CHP, and he is a smart son of a gun. I'm glad he's on our side.

Lucy broke down in the middle of an intersection the other week. Conveniently there was a cop about 30 seconds later, he held up traffic while I got a push...but I could tell he secretly had a thing for Lucy but was trying to remain composed.

I LOVE when people ask me about my truck, even when I got my head in the engine, please come talk to me!
