I hired a new guy today... (involves a cool bump)

Post by harrysnyder »

I've been needing someone in the shop to basically, clean, run errands, and handle other various shop tasks. I heard about this kid several weeks ago and waiting on him to come interview for the position. So today I'm getting ready to walk out of the shop and head to our new building (we are in the process of moving) and I see this in the parking lot:

So I immediately get hung up talking to this kid about his truck for several minutes. It's a 6 cyl 3 speed virgin '69. Has the factory AM radio that WORKS too. So we talk and I actually ended up trying to buy the radio and he says he'll sell it to me. Well I leave and come back and the kids still there. The owner (my boss) calls me out back and tells me to interview the kid because he's the one we've been waiting on! Needless to say he starts monday.

Pretty sweet huh? He got that truck for $1600

Win win all around. Great deal on the bump. Better yet great to see the next generation getting into the hobby

You can tell alot about the kid from the way he keeps his truck. He is probally a good ,clean kid that will show up on time with a good attitude. Good score on the radio.
