Re: West Coast Mirrors
The original Ford mirrors have the 3 ribs on the back and a Ford Logo on the back lower. The mirrors with the 3 supports like on an F350 still have the same mirror head on them as the F100's with the 2 arms if it is a Ford Mirror from what I have seen at least

Re: West Coast Mirrors
Funny this should me mentioned. I finally found a clean set of Juniors at the yard yesterday, here's the information for you:
Full West Coast Mirror:

Junior West Coast Mirror:

Back of mirror head:

As you can see the Juniors are fold away mirrors while the full size are not because they have the diagonal cross brace. Both mirrors use the same heads as well as mounting hardware (same parts, same location, minus the bracket for the cross brace, of course). I picked the juniors up because the full size ones are too big to go through my garage, I am keeping the hardware for the cross brace on the truck so I can easily swap from Junior to Full with two bolts.

Re: West Coast Mirrors
Drove the truck to work on Monday, it was weird having the mirrors so close in, truck felt smaller whipping through the parking garage in downtown (Yes I do feel quite amused driving my rusty beat up dead reliable Ford through all the luxury cars).
I'll tell you though, you *really* feel those mirrors being 16" closer together when backing up late at night, I have to park the truck a bit tight out front because I've got too many vehicles, that will take some getting used to.
