crackin wise on another locals truck

Post by fordman »

i was driving down k32 today and saw this truck for sale. it had a interesting bed on it. so i went back and took these pictures. i also think i go this phone number in the picture. its a 69 F350. the bed looks like a welding bed for a welding service truck. great even the cell phone pics i took are too big. well i will put them in photo bucket and link them back. but here is the deal about the cracken wise thing. this person could Be a member of the site. so i dont want to get them mad. although we all love to cut up non perfect truck as a thing we do on the site. and if the person is a member. its nothing personal. its just what i saw.

the ruck has a nice color and no rust on it at all. it has been painted and nice color and the paint is nice. it has a very old style looking bench seat in it. it looks older than our trucks original came with. no bucket seats as you would expect with a F350 type of truck. the truck had a FE engine in it. the pvc had been disconnected and two wierd breather on both valve covers. which let oil out to go all over the valve covers. the breathers looked like mini k$n filter on top of domed oil caps. and it had the F350 big radiator in it. i guess what got me was that he painted the wing window rubber. instead of replacign it. or just shining it up. and all of the body parts fenders and hood. didnt line up properly and it made the truck look like a kid had put it together. but that could be adjusted no problem. but really it should have been adjusted before it was repainted i thought. it just makes a paint job not look that attractive. only from far away.

i forgot to mention that the grill had been powder coated silver. as well as the front bumper. they looked good powder coated. the grill was missing the passenger headlight door.

I am pretty sure I have seen that particular truck here on the forum before in a post where a member I cant recall saw it at a local show they went to............I distinctly recall it because of the drool that shorted out my keyboard.
