A dude has a 69 F250 crew cab on the craigslist here where I live for $2500. Looks pretty decent and most of all, its a rust free cali rig. Wondering if I should go get it, although my wife will get pissed if I start a ford truck collection...

A good crew for $2500 is a very good buy. I just bought my 69 F350 crew cab for $2400 and it had rust cancer on the roof that needed repair and no bed on it. So $2500 for a good crew that is all there with minimal rust is a very good buy. The crews from the bumpside era are still out there, but not easy to find in good condition.

Not as rare to find a rust free one in Cali, but other parts of the country it is. There are guys on here that would sell their first born for a completely rust free truck, in good shape, at that price. Any pics?

Hey Happy camper. Check CL again there is a 1970 4x4 crew cab 4x4 in Gilroy for 1500. Might be worth checking into....always nice to meet another Monterrey bay area Fordification guy!
