Visit

Post by Mancar1 »

I am excited, picking up our oldest daughter and her husband from the Sac airport tonight! 1st visit since their Mom passed away. They are coming in from Fairbanks, for 2 weeks. The youngest and her husband are coming in from Walnut Creek for 4 days. Wish the middle girl could be here with her family, but she can't make it this time. All 3 girls were here by their Mom's side as she passed in July. Going to have a great visit, and a big early family Turkey Day!!!
Had 3 yards of blueish 3/4" stone delivered yesterday. (Going to put the Son-In-laws to work). I am working on putting together a reunion for next summer with the kids and familys. 28 people with kids, grandkids, great grandkids. Oh boy that will take a bunch of $$$$$. Been saving my beans. They are scattered all over the USA. That is what I get for creating a Navy family. Anyway that will be when we have the memorial for Vicki. I just haven't been able to yet. :( I wanted everyone here.
Enjoy life and have a great day. John

Sounds awesome, John. Nothing better than spending time with family, especially when they all do not live near by.

Back about 40 years ago I was on the Seattle side, stationed on a Destroyer. Pier 90/91. Vicki was raised in Kenmore. That is where I meant her. I am now in Tehama County Ca.

Hope you enjoy your visit with your two daughters John. I do miss my Son dearly... :(
I was fortunate enough to attend a family reunion last month, (only the second one I was able to attend in some 26 years).
It will be worth every penny you save and so...much more to get your family together for a reunion!
