David,

I'll echo what everyone's said above about staying positive. I'm living proof that doctors can be wrong! Two days prior to my 2nd back surgery I'd had to have blood work done, (criteria to ensure one's health is good enough for surgery). My white cell count was also up too high, so they "threw up the red flag" and said no surgery. I too had to go to an oncologist, (who finally informed me all was ok-my body was simply fighting off some other issue). So it seems our bodies will kick into a safety mode and the white cells will do their thing-to ward off viruses / colds / flus / etc. from time to time.

I will say a prayer for Nicole, your bride-and the Mother of your children-that all goes well and that this too is a "misdiagnosis" as mine was a few years ago.

David

My prayers go out for Nicole. Jesus is the great healer. I also pray that God will give you both peace during this time of wait.

From what I hear from a friend who had the surgery a couple of months ago she will be up and around the next day but it will be 6 months to a year to be completely back to normal. Tell that young lady to take it easy from now on. :D

Thank you everyone for keeping Nicole and I in your thought today. She made it through the surgery with no complications. She is at home resting now.
