this is a relay box from the dodge that we are using for the truck. we are re-purposing it for what we need. I think it will look nice and clean with the cover on it when its all buttoned up...
035.JPG
startin' to assemble the dana 60...all new brakes, berrings, races, seals, and rotors and pads....warn standard hubs should clean up ok....
034.JPG
And these are the guys that I need to thank for helping my dream become a reality...my brother Jed, in the blue shirt, has been pullin' my weight all summer in our family business while me and our great friend pete, in the grey shirt, thrashed on this thing since july. pete is a machine tool technology instructor at a local school so this was pretty much our summer...along with a few other things...My nephew Jake helped too for a while, between football and racin' his junior dragster all summer....Im so blessed to have you guys in my life, thanks for everything!!!!! did I mention that pete has a 95' f250 4x4 with a 12valve cummins thats cleaner than this project , that makes like 460hp to the wheels!!! and the tourqe is double that!!!!
013 (2).JPG
We still have to paint the underside of the hood, finish assembling the front rear, install and hook up the new/used fuel tank, fab up the transfercase linkage, make and install drive shafts, fab up the tranny cross member, install the propotioning valve and blead the brakes, hang the grill assembly and trim for the intercooler, finish the intercooler plumbing, fab the hood latch mount,......and a few million other little things....so if I dont forget how to post pictures on here in the meantime, you guys should be in for a few more installments of this project till' its done!!!!!
