Call of Duty MW3 way off topic

Post by nadams »

Has anyone played COD MW3 yet? What did you think? I have made it through the first 4-5 missions before my son came home from school and stole the game from me  . I really like the game so far, different dynamics other than just pick a gun and shoot anything that moves....well maybe just different scenarios to pick a weapon and shoot everything. I have not played multiplayer yet so no comments on that yet.

I'm considering buying it but that would be less money for ... food.

I am not happy about the new increase in cost of games. I get the kid to pay or half with his allowance....wait a second I pay him his allowance so that means I paid for the whole thing!

My kid will soon be begging me for a trip to the store. I sit down once in a while to play some FPS games with him but I usually dont last long. Thing that gets me is how it usually takes unloading a 20 round magazine on anyone before they even think of dying. Grenades usually work the first time. He plays them way more than I do thats for sure.

My wife plays it. I just started playing Minecraft. I spend hours and hours digging, killing and eating animals, setting myself on fire(from the lava), fighting or getting killed by zombies and other monsters and building underground tunnels and rooms. I haven't ordered the official version yet but then I will be able to play online with multiple players.

I have not played BF3 yet but I may have to give it a try. Now my seventeen year old daughter is hogging COD so I will go work on the bump.

It's interesting, my oldest son said there were around 40 kids in the office with 'doctors' slips Wednesday morning but there weren't any when BF3 came out. Truely a different mindset

WOW! Didn't expect FPS chat when I was logging in. I've been playing BF3 the last few days. The destructible environments and Frostbite engine are fantastic. I'm a MW fan as well but something about BF keeps me hooked. I played BF2 online for years and had all but given up on BF3.

All the COD fan boys :P BF has always been the underdog, kids today dont want to try a change in games  i mean COD has been exactly the same since the start of time :hmm: nothing new other then painted faces an rediculous perks. BF has always been about team work an no more of the rambo hero stuff that COD is all about. I enjoy them both in there own ways but like said above something about BF keeps me wanting more an the new one is key on spot an just flat out amazing with the destruction

Yep, I got pissed off at the truck and went up to the house to kill some folks. :) Three hours went by like minutes...

Silenced anything reduces the recoil a huge amount. I was running semi but now I can burst fire and drop enemy. Still have trouble when I go up against more than one opponent at a time because I spray them both instead of kill one, then the other...
