Finally got all the registration issues taken care of and the bump is finally officially registered in my name. I looked threw the vin decoder on this sight and she was made in San Jose and the Mohave tan is original color. It has what looks like a 351C or M? It has 8 bolts on the valve cover. Original is a 6 cylinder. Automatic and 370 gears.
I did alittle measuring for the wheels I want and it looks like the 13.25" wide rear tires that I'm gonna use will be very tight. Some fender well lip massaging might work. The 11.25" fronts might work also. Tomorrow I'm gonna get her off the trailer and get the wheels off and check for sure. I feel like a kid with a new toy! Pics coming soon!

I jacked up the ol'girl and pulled the wheels off and stuck one of them lightning wheels in the wheel well for chits and giggles and man did I like the way it looked!
As for the back wheels it looks like I can go with a 2 1/2" adapter and tuck them big wheels in there without too much of a problem. The fronts look like they will fit fine with justdrilling the holes out on the rim.
Tomorrow I'm gonna try and get the adapters ordered up.
I can't wait to get these wheels mounted and start working on the drop!
I took the truck for alittle spin around the block and the manual steering didn't seem too rough, I hope it still feels ok with the bigger wheels on it.

I found that the faster I drive the easier the wheel moves with the manual steering.

Now, i know these arent everyones cup of tea. Some might think it even ruins the truck, but atleast they are factory ford wheels!
They are just sitting in the wells right now so they dont look exactly as they should. Yes, i love pictures! Hope i aint out of line by puting up a million pics with such little progress
Got the adapters and installed the rears. The passanger side is gonna need alittle adjustment on the wheel well. I need to either cut down the lugs i have for the fronts or get some shorter ones, they are gonna have to wait for another day.
