Those modular trucks are cool! I bet moving some of that big stuff is pretty nerve racking though

I have been to OZ and passed a few of those road trains. It's flat out weird to see them.

Just think about what happens if a person accidentally pulls out in front of one of those things, or gets rear ended by one. I'm sure it takes forever to slow it down.woods wrote:I have been to OZ and passed a few of those road trains. It's flat out weird to see them.

Re: So you think YOU have a big truck?
You know what's funny, they don't take nearly as long to stop as a person would think. Not that it's quick or anything, but they slow right down. The real nail biter is passing one. In my junk rental car, it had a zero to 60 time of around a week, so getting around one was a bit hairy.fomocoguy wrote:Just think about what happens if a person accidentally pulls out in front of one of those things, or gets rear ended by one. Cool vid.
Those modulars are something else but I'd love to have the chance to drive a road train.

Been down under. The feeling like something that big is on the wrong side gets ya. Until ya relize maybe it is on the right side and I am on the wrong side

Re: So you think YOU have a big truck?
Yeah, the really bad part is when you ride a motorcycle down there. You're not constantly reminded to drive on the wrong side by the steering wheel also being on the wrong side. When you stop somewhere and pull out onto the road again on a bike, it's easy to forget and go back to what you know.
