What makes it so good if you think about it,is what Jimmy Johnson thinks about losing championship to someone with their engine and not on their team.

my heart goes out to Carl tho. in my book, he's a Champ too, he did, after all, tie points-wise.... and if you think about it in terms of overall dependability , that 99 FORD was there at the top all season....

I like both drivers so I think they both put on a heck of a show. Congrats to Tony on the win. It would have been kinda nice to see a Ford win in a Ford sponsored race though.

I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist but someone certainly had a much more dominate car than everyone else. Driving hard into the bottom of the corner didn't seem to hurt his tires and his car seemed well in control. Reminds me of I think one of the Earnharts runs a couple years ago passing everything in sight for a couple laps and then the tires went south.

I often wonder why most of the field just goes in circles like sheep vs. take some risks and race hard. Daytona's tandom racing was very exciting but why did it only show up for one race?

NASCAR is too much about faces and not enough about races...

Thank God it wasn't Jimmy Johnson, although I think I heard a rumor that NASCAR will continue changing the rules until Dale Jr can win a championship!

He still won't be able to win championship. I saw that at the 600 in Charlotte. Nascar tried to give it to him by not throwing caution flag and he ran out of gas.

I admit the truth...Jimmie is a good driver, I just don't like him (or Hendricks), but Dale Junior is well overrated.

Ya everybody that thinks Jr is a good driver, need to open their eyes. Everyone knows or should know he has the equipment and money backing him to win races. So why is he not winning? because hes not a race car driver just because his daddy and granddad knew how to drive a race car doesn't mean he can.
