That is really great. What else have you done? I know you did not get that good the first time you did it, so there has to be others.

We wanna know what grade you go for that. Better be an A given the quality and the theme. Good work! Is your major art or is this an elective?

Yeah, without an A, we might have to do something drastic.

As far as other work......most of it, is stuff we draw in class but this was my third of four homework projects. I'm not an art major, just taking the class as an elective. I took art all through high school twenty-four years ago and it was an easy "A" for me. Now that I'm back in school my wife suggested that I take an art class. I was surprised how fast I picked it up again. Here is my second project, a still life that had to have something in it that is special to you. The fire helmet is my Dad's, he is a retired Omaha firefighter and the helmet was his first one from the late sixties. I did get an "A" on this one, haven't got a grade on the glille and burgers yet.

I could be wrong, but I really think that level of talent is something you are born with and then refine with classes. I really stink at anything like that and don't think I could be shown how.

Ditto that, I can draw decent with a ruler, archetectural, drafting, and forms are easy but I have a terrible time making things look real. Light and shadow kicks my butt.

Both of my sisters got my great grandfathers and grandfathers and mothers art gene... but me... NOT. I can barely get a decent stick figure to run out of my brain and into a pencil. My hand writing sucks also. I agree that it's something you're born with and it really can't be taught into you just broadened.

"Burgers on the grill" is AWESOME...!! Even much better than dogs playing poker!!

Yeah, if you could make that in a velvet print, you would really have something. :D

That's some AWESOME talent. I think you need to foster it into more Bump pics. I'd love to have a copy of the burgers on the grill and anything else you come up with.

Update on the drawing, got a 100% on it. My art professor loved it. I was glad, never know what they will think.
