Thanks. It is by far the best car ive had in terms of mpg, ease of repair and cost of parts. and considering ive had an 85 cherokee, 84 f150, 88 comanche, and an 88 supra in adition to 4 bumps (they dont count, bumps are still better!), that really says something. lol.

and besides, these things have pretty much a cult following, so the mods are endless! its probably going to be getting a header and a cat delete this weekend.

I picked this one up for a grand. It isnt in the best shape, but it runs good and its only got 154k on it. im in the process of getting it to "nice driver" status, but its gonna be a little while. Im gonna put mk3 pull style door handles instead of the mk2 trigger style, im gonna replace the dented drivers fender and weld up the antenna hole and mount one somewhere else, i might do a single round headlight conversion, and i want to put some different wheels on it.

2000 Jeep Cherokee. It's been a great vehicle, and I've logged 60k miles on her with nothing but standard maintenance. Plus it's been to it's limit and back off road numerous times and always comes through for me. Just a 3" lift with 30" tires, but I plan on a flat fender flare kit and 33's soon.
Image
It's awesome in the rocks and trails, but deep mud not so much...

Beer did that. It was a nasty bottomless hole that I found out later had swallowed a 3/4 ton truck on 40's a few weeks earlier. Even after having the fuse panel under water for about 2 hours it gave me no problems whatsoever.
