Something nice

Post by Madman »

On my way to work, worrying about all the little crap in my life, I usually see a man sleeping under a park bench. Living in Colorado, I know it must be miserable at night. Last night, when we finish our Thanksgiving dinner, we packed two tupperware containers full of food, and took it to where I see the person stay. He wasn't there when we dropped it off, but he was this morning, and the food package was gone. It simply feels nice to see that a difference was made to someone last night, and I wanted to share.

Madman,

I hope that your Thanksgiving was excellent

Your true concern of others gives me hope in that if we help each
other we in turn help ourselves, and that is how America became
such a great country...People Helping People.

I'm a firm believer in what goes around, Comes around

Thanks for sharing your story 8)

Thanks MrMajestyk. I don't know how to say this without sounding stupid, but I didn't set out the meals for praise, and the feeling that I helped someone is truly bigger than I could have ever expected, but my fellow truck lovers god words are more than I expected as well. Thank you all!

Madman,

Nothing stupid at all

Hopefully you planted a seed and it will soon grow, It used to be people had morals. People had respect.
People had a sense of pride. You did not think twice about helping someone out

I keep praying for this-as I feel this will be what it takes for the jobs to come back. To move away from the corporate greed that has taken over our country, where our brothers are without work or food.
I also like to call it "paying it forward or karma" and still believe that "what goes around-comes around".
Maybe not as fast as we'd like sometimes, yet it does.
