Should I get it and what's the best way to ship a Bump?
After wanting a Bump for years, I finally got one....and then let it go about 5-1/2 years ago because of rust etc.
Well, a good friend from highschool recently offered me his '69 LWB F100 Ranger with a 360, C6, PS, factory bucket seats,
factory behind the seat storage with the mandatory frame mounted tank, locking differential, etc. It's fairly straight and
basically rust free. It also has Camper Special emblems on it. He's owned it since 1987. I just have to pay to have it shipped
from Washington state to the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
What is a good/economical way to get it shipped? (I'm sure it's worth it....)

There are transport companies that will transport your vehicle. Not sure on price or names. People do it when they move across the country.

To save money using a transport, look for a transport company that is deadheading (driving without cargo) between your friend's location and yours.

Yes get it and I would transport it, when I got my bump shipped I looked on craigslist and found a company for good price.

I was gonna answer a post earlier this week on the subject. You might want to do a search here on the forum-as I remember there being a member, (or two) on here that did just that. It's probably going to cost at least $2000 to have it shipped from one coast to the next. I had kiwi's karriers ship my crew from northern California to St. Louis MO and the cost was $1450. Also I will say BE CAREFUL! I got took for $700 before I found an honest company. A lot of guys will ask for a deposit, schedule a pick up, then dissapear with your money, leaving you with less money and weeks behind schedule. I advise you to never put any money down. Thanks for replies. Flying out and getting would be fun but not affordable. I would have to pay, for a ticket, lodging, food, at least $1000 for gas, a week off work and January or February is probably not a good time to travel across that part of the country. Trying to get some quotes now on shipping....and I also have Christmas to finance!!

When I bought my crews off Ebay, I used DAS for both and had no problem with either shipment. Picked up when they said they would and delivered when they said they would. You can also look on The HAMB, I believe there are members there who transport vehicles. Thanks Trukcrazy. Checked out DAS website. Their quote online, going from terminal to terminal is less than $1000 to get a truck across country! Thet have their own trucks, drivers, GPS tracking etc. so your vehicle is always in their control and not brokered out to the cheapest carrier (you know this since you used them).

go to uship.com put it up for bid it is a company owned by ebay with private haulers. I had a guy from there haul my cc from kansas city to ne ohio it was 1000.00 i would have had more than that to do it myself.
