Ok, I gotta brag. I want to the junkyard and scored HUGE. I've been looking for these parts for the last 4 years. all the ones ive found are broken, or f250 ones. I wanted a set of f100 ones to keep the "durrs" from asking why i lowered my stepside f250 and changed the wheels to 5 lug (it happened before when i had a set of mint f250 badges on my black and white longbed f100).
For $11.48, I got all this.
.
I literally danced in the junk yard. the guy at the counter asked why i was so excited about these parts, i think he understands now. he also probably thinks i have a problem.

Tell them you did not lower it...it's an F210 (very rare) and they came from the factory that low because they were built to use in the Arctic to run over lemmings and lemmings are short.
Nice! Same thing happened to me when I found my sport bumper at the salvage. I could barely keep it together.
When I find a part like that I try to keep my excitement level to a minimum in front of the salvage yard guys. I then pull out of their drive & commence to do a steering wheel tap/seat dance complete with ritualistic chants. Yeah, I don't get too many good "scores" from the salvage yard, so when I do I tend to get a little excited
