Im back on the bump !!

Well, after a long, hot, worhtless summer im back on the bump. Planning on tearing it down this winter. Lots in store this go around. Pulling the drivetrain for rebuild, new front end, all new brakes, cab mount repair & I also plan on lowering it down a little, just to name a few things.

I got a little bummed out this summer due to lack of funds for the truck. I only took it to one local show. I've put less than 100 miles on it this year. To be honest with you it's not fit for the road. The brakes are downright dangerous & the front end is about to fall out from under the truck i.e. bushings gone, kingpins have alot of play & the steering box has a "dead zone". No more. It's time to get it on.

At any rate, i'll be spending more time with you guys. Just like the good ol days. I feel like George from Seinfeld:

Sounds like you have a good plan. I sure know about the lack of funds, when there are projects that are begging to be worked on. Have fun. Look forward to following the progress.

It sucked a big one this summer. Lots of crap happened all at once. That was pretty much the end of any planned upgrades I had in store for the truck. Had to put everything on hold.

I know how you feel. Been many times when I end up making a lot of my own stuff (if I can) because I could not afford to just buy it.
