Yeah, I happen to have a fast running stream on my property with a lot of spare time. Keep it up and I'll be out there building a water wheel.

We had a major road closed for a couple years or more while they tried to figure out how to keep the fish happy in a small creek maybe 20 foot wide while replacing a bridge. Apparently the fish liked just that exact spot where the bridge was and they wouldn't appreciate the disturbance involved with fortifying the bridge foundation. They actually went downstream and dug a couple pools in the creek for the fish before they continued work on the bridge.

One of the places I worked for years ago built a new 250k foot facility, monthly bill was $200K+ and we could not figure it out until we got a guy to come in and monitor the service because our presses kept blowing electronics. Turned out we were on the same feeder line as an arc furnace and the power company put the wrong meter in.

Interesting stuff working for a passionate Italian guy and getting to listen in to that phone call and the subsequent very public beatdown of the power company engineer and sales rep when thay came to fix it. We had several months of free power too.

What makes me grab the tin hat, is the fact that in missouri, and if i'm not mistaken oklahoma or atleast ottowa county, miami,ottowa,picher,cardin,ok if they find out you let someone who owed them a bill move in, they can tack it onto your bill,or cut you off until you confront thwem on it and or get a lawyer.

just curious have you tried actually using what they claim you use just once?

seems like the more you realy use the more they cut slack? oh and kid you not studies done years ago showed it cost you more to turn them on and off as needed then to loeave them on.
