I guess. Something has happened with the site, but Im not up on website workings so I have no idea. I can no longer access the site from work. Been using the site at work since '08 with ZERO issues. First it started with the forums. Then it spread thru the entire site tech/tutorials/ TSB's ect.

My work computer tries to load the page, but the server times out. I hit the "diagnose problems" tab that pops up after it times out, it takes about 30 seconds to scan or whatever it does. The Gov. server tab pops up & basically says nothing is wrong on the Gov. side, but the server FORDification. com/ q4234345 bla bla bla. is having connectivity issues. ?? Every other site I visit on my work CPU is @ 100%, so I know it's not the work computer. I've cleaned out everything I can, made sure the SSL & TLS was correct, but that's about all I can do. . .

According to what I read in Keiths replies, he's had to turn off or limit a good bit of the functionality of the site to limit his bandwidth from the host provider. Searches and stats are huge resource drains (stats more than you would think). It's all data that has to get transmitted back and forth. We are currently getting bandwidth limited, that's why a lot of the spurious errors are popping up.

Fordification is popular because of all the tech data on the main pages and we are always getting hits and downloads of the reference drawings and pictures. Keith put in a lot of effort to clean them up and the file size downloads each time we look at them. Members should right click and save the file to their desktop for future reference.

I am getting the "Connection has been reset" message whenever I click on a topic when using firefox. (again) . I had this trouble before and cleared my cache and history which fixed it, but I had to start over with everything else.

I agree clearing the cache is a major PAIN, but thats what it took to get IE up and running again...
