I wish it was an SHO, and I REALLY wish my heater worked. Freakin icebox in the winter LOL... Arg... If I could afford to drive my truck, I would LOL
Unless the heater core leaks and they bypassed it, it might not take much to
get it going. Often it's the heater control valve that is kaput, froze up, etc..
Also, make sure it has the correct thermostat in it. That would be extra important
in your cold location. Too cold an engine is inefficient, causes more wear, and will
make the heater temps too cold if it's way off the usual temp. No stat at all
will really whack the heater. I can't live without a heater myself.. brrrrr..
I can take no A/C a lot easier than I can no heater..
I think that the heater core or the lines to it are plugged. It is a common problem on these cars I have read. So Lame, as I have to scrape ice off the inside of my windows every morning.....
Its a huge job on these cars, a full dash disassembly... arg. The door latches like to stick open too....
I got spoiled by getting to drive a 06 or 08 F150, man........ Skookum!
2004 Pontiac GTO/Holden Monaro 480rwhp very long list of mods Its a street car not a drag car unfortunatly there are no good drag strips where i like. And yes it is my daily driver.
Enjoy!
Im in the process of a full conversion. I have all the interior pieces and all the outside badges. The only thing im missing is the front bumper cover and engine cover. The paint is a Holden Monaro CV8 Turismo Blue. When it comes to peformance you cant beat GM and when the job gets tough you get a ford truck and when you want something to shoot at you get a dodge.
Thats why they turned down a head to head match aginst the new Zr1 huh? Because there the fastest? I dont think so. The Corvette Zr1 and new Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 Superveloce are the fastest production car made in the world right behind them is a 800+HP rwd twin turbo V12 made by a company called braubus. Its a Mercedes CLS class that wheighs over 5000lbs and beats a Porche GT2. Considering the Lamborghini LP670-4 Superveloce has a top end speed of 215 and the Zr1 of 205 you can see where Ford has always been a little to "proud" of there overpirced "pony" cars and imo thats all there ever going to be. They couldnt even make a super car. The Ford GT is joke. Sorry but ford will never make a facotry peformance car that doesnt require some kind of power adder. They should focus more on making trucks because thats all there good at.

Actually, the Bug Veyron Super Sport is currently the fastest production car.
