Favorite feature of your bump?

Post by sublimer »

Mine is easy, it's my rear bumper! It needs to be refinished, but it's all there!

It says to the left of the plate "Cove Ford" and to the right "Copperas Cove Texas"

This is where the dealer the truck was bought from, even though it was made in New Jersey.

I'd honestly have to say the 'Lack' of features

No Power Steering, Brakes or an Automatic Transmission not to mention No Computers :D

A basic truck that I can work on and most of the time repair myself

I agree with that. I just replaced the fuel filter on my mazda protege and it took me about 4 hours. When i was working on the mazda i thought to myself, man will i be glad when the bump is done so i want have to go threw all this BS to get something done. Everything will be eazier to get to. Old school i guess.

Lack of features and the twin I beam are two of the best thing about my bump. One V belt, king pins instead of ball joints, simple as an anvil and twice as functional. I love the 3 speed more everyday. It's a refreshing change from what I work on for a living.

:yt: :yt: :D :D as stated by others is the lack of features is what I love. There is something about the simplicity that I love. It was built to work and to be kept on the road without much problem.
