Learned A Valuable Lesson

Post by ford4x4fun »

So, after working on the truck yesterday and me drinking probably a couple to many beers the boys got out there bicycles. They where trying to do tricks and ride a wheelie on there bikes. So the last words of any good Red-Neck.

"Hey boys hold my beer and let me show you how to do this!"

I should have called it quits when I did a bunny hop and the handlebars moved on my youngust sons little BMX want to be bike. But no not me.

"Ride a wheelie dad!" So says my youngest still holding my beer.

So with all the knowledge that I could muster from being a 13 year old I went for the wheelie. Instead of being a star I saw stars. That little bike came out from under me so fast. It didn't hurt so much yesterday but once I went to sleep I tell you what I can assure you I am not a 13 year old kid anymore. Anyone got some extra pain meds?

Oh yeah, that magical day when you learn you now go splat instead of bounce...you'll always remember it, so will the boys.

last time I was drinking hard and working on something, I ended up wondering why the brand new transmission I just put in my Jeep was making a heck of a lot of noise. Come to find out, you're suppose to put oil in it.

I kinda did the same thing on Easter after a few vodka drinks I got on my nephew's KTM 85 dirt bike the next thing I remember was the flasing lights of the paramedics pulling up...I hit a big jump on his motocross track, landed wrong and it knocked me out cold...lol. He paniced and called 911 cause he couldnt wake me up... lesson well learned!
