The Liquid Glove works GREAT. I used to use it when working on diesel engines. Anybody who's ever worked on an old 6-71 or 8V-71 Detroit will tell you that the oil from those engines will permanently stain anything it comes in contact with. The Liquid Glove was the only thing I ever found that would even remotely get/keep your hands clean. Cummins, Cat and others weren't quite as bad.

The Liquid Glove is nothing but a soap-based cream. Rub it in good before you start, then when you wash your hands, the oil and grease will come right off. Just remember, if you get any water on your hands while working, you've got to stop, wash your hands then re-apply.
Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools talk because they have to say something.--Plato
Why is it that there's seldom time to fix it right the first time, but there's always time to fix it right the second time???

That's not an oil leak :nono: That's SWEAT from all that HORSEPOWER!!

When my hands have the hard to remove... in the cracks of the skin... grease stains, I make a meatloaf... :)
Works like a charm...

If it's the typical dirty grease deal from working under the truck... the heavy duty removal can be done by dipping into the old dirty motor oil in your catch pan then followed up by some clean motor oil... then wash with regular soap and then if required... or hungry... make a meatloaf.

WD-40 works well too. Just spray it on your hands and rub, then wipe with a towel. Re-apply if needed.

I'm always concerned about what type of chemicals we put on our skin, it's been well documented that getting used motor oil on our hands can cause cancer when it is absorbed through our skin. Most mechanics where protective gloves now- a- days. I learned the risk of all of these carcinogens years ago when I took a course on handling different herbicides/chemicals for spraying crops. It's amazing how much is absorbed through the skin on our hands. I think we can never be to careful, I think of this all of the time and it's never to late to change our habits, latex gloves work pretty good, as long as there are no allergies to latex.

I usually wear mechanics gloves or nitrile gloves now.

I'm thinking it's a little too late for me to be worrying about what little I might be absorbing through my skin... But hey... We all have to die of something right?
