Parking brake - connection between single front cable and dual rear cables... (EDIT: Maybe - looks similar to mine but not exact...)

Robert, I got that installed on the frame. I hate it when I do this. I remember taking this off, because of the funky little clips. But now I haven't a clue what I took it off of. :? :?

i say it is the parking brake also. Could it be the brake connection that mounts to the cross support that is below the rear cab area. The same support that the cab is mounted to

I don't recognize it. Is your truck a 4x4 maybe as I haven't messed with those?

It's the disgronificator. Your truck won't run without that part being properly installed.

Where's fordman when you need him? :hmm:
If your truck is a stick it may be something to do with the clutch linkage my truck has something similar to that down near the bellhousing.

- still got my first first car 20+yrs later : 69 f100 sorta kinda pretending its a Mercury M100 w/a 70 f350 sport custom cab (factory buckets) 67 grille with 69 ranger cooneyes 68 merc box and hood,some supercool fiberglass fenders i scored way back when, 76 f150 disc brake frontend..currently running a 90 5.0HO 4bbl/c4 auto & 3.50 posi...originally a 360/c6 f100 Ranger with dealer added towpack (incl. kelsey hays trailer brake),boxside toolbox,behind the seat stowage & belly tank...only original parts left on 'er are the frame,rear end,rear springs,and rear bumper...

Looks like transfer case shifter/linkage bracketry of some sort :?
But then again nothing shifter/linkage wise looks anything like that.
