Slowly getting my 2wd bronco done

Post by junkyardjeff »

Last spring I bought a 88 bronco with some drivetrain issues to do a 2wd swap which I got the front suspension done quickly but taking my time changing the trans and getting a driveshaft made, after I got my 55 sunliner ready for the trip to Daytona beach in november I got the bronco in the garage to change the trans and replace the valve cover gaskets. Last summer I bought a "rebuilt" trans off craigslist and a couple weeks ago got it installed and a driveshaft made so before I fired it up I decided to drop the pan and put fresh fluid in the trans and found a suprise, remains of a bearing were sucked in the filter and found a bunch of very small roller bearings in the pan so out it cam and to the trans shop so its done and I picked it up today so it will go in monday after work and maybe get it off the jack stands. I need to get it done soon as I need to get my 66 F250 back togather after getting paint.
