License plates
I thought I'd do a survey from stat to state on who alllows YOM (year of manufacture) license plates.
I ran into a dealer Sat. with lots of nice sets that were reasonably priced. He had a bunch of Nebraska back to the early 50s and quite a variety of other states too.

Great ideas have always encounter violent opposition from mediocre minds.

re: License plates
Florida allows YOM plates. They have to inspect them first. I have been looking for a good 1967 Florida plate, preferably with the g/k classification on it.

re: License plates
California allows YOM plates on 1962 and earlier vehicles only.

re: License plates
I think that anything in Oregon after 63 or 4 has to have updated plates if replated. One of my car's plates are not the correct blue/yellow and have found the correct plates many times at swap meets but last I checked you can NOT transfer plates unless they are older than 63 or 64. That should change!!! IMO

It may have been....the guy I got mine from had a small 12 foot enclosed trailer and was under the trees. He also had some guns for sale and other misc stuff. He had a ton of plates out but no 70. I asked and he produced some clean 70 plates from the trailer for $20 bucks
