76 ford van parts swap.

Good morning. Im not sure where to post this because its in several categories. But I found a 76 ford van for a good price. What parts will swap if any. Im lookg to do front disks, Intermittent wipers, seats possibly, and get the motor and trans. Again If swapable. ????? Thanks Champdog

I believe vans have the rear sump oil pans that the 4x4s use.

the interior door latch handles swap too
( something i found out recently- aerostar latch handles will swap too,although they're made of plastic )

engines and trans swap in with no problems usually, although c6 van trannys tend to have long tailshafts which will mean you'll need to get either a custom driveshaft or your existing shaft shortened
also : the van engine mounts are different than truck ones (at least the frame stands are anyways..),and sometimes the van exhaust manifolds can interfere with the frame ,steering box and engine stands depending on the engine

van rads work too ,but one of the flanges on the side will need a little trimming and a few new holes drilled
